1. Service Description

Cliptachat ("the Service") is a web application that generates short-form recap videos narrated in Burmese. The Service processes user-supplied video content, transcribes it, generates a Burmese-language narration script, and produces a downloadable recap video with audio narration and burned-in subtitles.

2. Beta Status

The Service is currently in beta. It is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Features may change or be removed without notice.

3. Acceptable Use

By submitting content to the Service you represent and warrant that:

• You own the submitted content or hold a licence that permits you to use it in this manner.
• Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
• You will not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you submit and any recap output generated from your content. You grant the Service a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the requested output.

The Service's platform, brand, and all associated software remain the exclusive property of the operator. Nothing in these Terms transfers any rights in the platform to you.

5. Copyright

We respect copyright. If you believe your copyright-protected work has been reproduced on the Service without authorisation, please contact us at the email address in Section 10. We maintain a repeat-infringer policy: accounts that repeatedly infringe third-party copyrights will be suspended or permanently terminated.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Payments and Credits

Credits purchased are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. We reserve the right to adjust credit pricing at any time. Credit balances have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to violations of the Acceptable Use or Copyright sections.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page.
