1. Data We Collect

• Account data: your email address and a secure password hash. We never store your plain-text password.
• Job files: video files you upload and all intermediate processing artifacts (transcripts, audio clips, output video). These are deleted automatically 30 minutes after the job completes.
• Usage logs: server-side request logs (timestamps, endpoints, HTTP status codes) for debugging and abuse detection. Logs do not contain video content.
• Agreement timestamp: the date and time you agreed to these Terms, stored at account creation.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate and improve the Service: authenticating your account, processing your jobs, and diagnosing errors. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver the Service, we work with trusted third-party providers. Data is shared with them only to the extent necessary to perform their specific function:

• AI processing partners — used for transcript extraction and narration script generation. Video content may be sent to these services.
• Speech synthesis partners — used to produce Burmese audio narration. The narration text is sent to these services.
• Email delivery partners — used for transactional emails such as account verification. Your email address is shared for this purpose only.

Each provider maintains their own privacy and security standards. We select providers that meet industry data protection requirements.

4. Data Retention

• Job files and artifacts: deleted automatically 30 minutes after job completion.
• Account data: retained until you request account deletion.
• Session cookies: expire per session TTL; deleted on logout.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We set exactly one cookie: a session token used to keep you logged in. It is marked HttpOnly and Secure and is not accessible to JavaScript. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including secure password hashing and encrypted session management. Job files are stored in secured server environments and deleted promptly after use. No security measure is 100% foolproof, but we are committed to protecting your data.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
