Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address and hashed password (PBKDF2-SHA256). We never store your plain-text password.
• Job files: video files you upload and all intermediate processing artifacts (transcripts, audio clips, output video). These are deleted automatically 30 minutes after the job completes.
• Usage logs: server-side request logs (timestamps, endpoints, HTTP status codes) for debugging and abuse detection. Logs do not contain video content.
• Agreement timestamp: the date/time you agreed to the Terms of Service, stored at account creation.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate and improve the Service: authenticating your account, processing your jobs, and diagnosing errors. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Processors

We share data with the following sub-processors as necessary to deliver the Service:

• Google (Gemini API) — transcript and script generation. Video content is sent to Google's API.
• Microsoft Azure (Azure Speech TTS) — text-to-speech audio synthesis. Burmese narration text is sent to Microsoft's API.
• Resend — transactional email (account verification). Your email address is shared with Resend to deliver emails.

Each processor has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

4. Data Retention

• Job files and artifacts: deleted automatically 30 minutes after job completion.
• Account data (email, password hash, logs): retained until you request account deletion.
• Session cookies: expire per session TTL; deleted on logout.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We set exactly one cookie: a session token used to keep you logged in. It is HttpOnly and Secure. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-SHA256 and never stored in plain text. Session tokens are random and hashed before storage. Job files are stored in server-local temporary directories, not in public cloud storage.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance. We will note the effective date at the top of this page.
